The Role - Accounts Assistant
Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, the Accounts Assistant will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely management accounting information for the Pinnacle Group Ltd.
The job holder will play a pivotal role in Group Finance assisting with the provision and interpretation of high-quality management accounting information.
Key areas of responsibility
- Month end close – preparing monthly timetable for circulation, processing journals, and assisting with the preparation of accurate and meaningful monthly Management Accounts in accordance with agreed timescales.
- Assist with preparation and analysis and commentary of monthly results reporting on adverse variances to budget.
- Assist with Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations for all Group companies, including corrections and adjustments.
- In conjunction with the wider Finance Team and Operations continually look to improve processes, systems, and reporting.
- Support operational management by providing reliable reporting and ad-hoc additional information on request.
- Annual budget process – assist with preparation and analysis of year-on-year variances.
- Provide support with annual audit process – audit fieldwork.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
