A general Accountancy practice requires an experienced bookkeeper/Account Assistant that can provide high quality bookkeeping and payroll support to our clients in a dynamic environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Work on Sage L50 and Excel
- Invoice postings
- Maintaining Sales and Purchase ledgers and reconciliation of debtors and creditors and other accounts on Sage
- Liaise extensively with clients and resolve various queries
- Cash transactions and bank reconciliations.
- Bank postings and reconciliations.
- Preparation, completion and submission of VAT Returns and meet strict deadlines
- Payroll, pensions and CIS
- Dealing with financial paperwork, various administrative tasks and filing.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Work accurately and quickly with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to work with high volume of data
- Perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
- Good computer skills working with Sage, Excel, Outlook, Word
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and schedules as requested by Clients and Directors

Salary is dependent on experience and ability to carry out the job.

Salary: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
