Tetra Consulting is a fast-growing property and safety risk consultancy. We’re currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the team to assist with the daily operations of our Finance Department. If you’re highly organised with strong communication skills, we would love to hear from you.
Position Objective
Dealing with all Sales Ledger functions, including but not exclusive to customer queries, processing banking, account reconciliation, invoicing, completing and sending documentation, and assisting Credit Controllers with queries / copies as required.
Skills Required
- Previous accounts / sales ledger experience is essential.
- Experience with dealing with a variety of tasks.
- The ability to quickly build a rapport with customers and colleagues.
- Experience in the use of Sage 50 Accounts or similar accounting packages.
- Well organised with great attention to detail.
- Ability to reconcile payments, accurately capture data and resolve queries.
- A good working knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Strong communication skills and an excellent telephone manner
- Fluency in both verbal and written English.
- Able to work independently but also as a team player.
- Regular communication for reporting requirements is a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Completing customer information requests.
- Processing the banking and allocating payments with high accuracy.
- Saving and filing remittances, updating spreadsheets, with high accuracy.
- Assisting with reconciling some customer accounts.
- Resolving client queries, also dealing with Customer Services, Planning and Business Development teams.
- Raising customer invoices.
- Emailing and uploading invoices to client portals.
- Updating internal databases.
- Assistance on some accounts on the debtors ledger
- Reporting to the Head of Sales Ledger.

Salary: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
