Due to our continued growth and evolution, we are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant, to support the Accounts team with the efficient and effective processing of Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger. This role is based at our Woking office.
Responsibilities:
Purchase Ledger:
- Completing monthly banking reconciliations
- Processing expenses
- Processing invoices
- Making payment runs
- Completing monthly supplier statement reconciliations
- Monitoring cashflow on a daily basis
- Monitoring the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger inboxes on a daily basis
Sales Ledger:
- Completing daily sales invoice runs
- Credit control
- Direct debit collections
- Setting up new customer accounts and completing credit checks
Skills and experience:
- Previous Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger experience is required, ideally gained within an SME Finance environment
- A proficient user of MS Office, with intermediate Excel skills being particularly relevant
- Knowledge of Sage 200 would be advantageous, but is not essential
- Accuracy and an eye for detail are essential
- Excellent organisation, time management and prioritisation skills
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
Education and Qualifications:
- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English, grades A*-C
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week
Salary: Up to £26,000.00 per year
