What does the role involve?
Reporting to the Financial and Systems Accountant, you will work in the Finance Team to ensure that all monthly financial duties are completed to support the departmental strategy and plan. You will be required to work from the Newbury or Trowbridge office a minimum of 2-3 days a week. Working hours are from 8:30 -17:00.
Some of your key duties will include:
- Performing robust bank balance sheet reconciliations for all Novuna bank accounts
- Supporting the team to produce month-end schedules
- Completing euro and pound sterling reconciliations
- Supporting the manager with general accounting activities
- Enquiring resolutions for cash back
What are we looking for?
You will come from a strong background in finance or accounting and enjoy working to strict deadlines. You are an organised individual and have an eye for detail whilst completing tasks. Not only are you an excellent planner but you like to structure your day to prioritise work. Working on your own initiative and in collaboration with others comes naturally to you.
Also, we're looking for the following:
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to analyse statistics and data
