About the Role
Based in our head office, which is situated in Doncaster, we have an exciting entry-level role to join our business as an Accounts Assistant. The hours are 8.30 to 5.15 M-T and a 4 pm finish on Fridays, along with some flexible working after a qualifying period.
Some of the key responsibilities inc;
- Making Supplier Payments
- Managing Supplier Accounts
- Processing Invoices
- Posting Cash
- Assisting in Balance Sheet preparation
- Reconciling accounts
- Assisting with credit control where needed
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you’ll be working within a team environment, which is fast-paced and efficient and is the central hub for supporting our global operation.
About You
A passion for finance and accounting is a must, along with your ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while demonstrating your ability to deliver high-quality work within set timeframes to meet deadlines. You’ll be confident with great communication skills as this is a prerequisite both internally and externally. This will either be your first job from leaving university after studying finance or accounting, or you will have worked within a junior finance position for the last two years and have obtained an AAT level 2 or above, alternatively you will have replaced the need for the AAT via a significant amount of practical work experience.
