Due to continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our dedicated team undertaking a variety of administrative tasks to support our finance function. Our ideal candidate will flourish working as part of a small team, be willing to undertake a variety of tasks and be flexible and adaptable in their approach to work. We are a friendly, supportive bunch and would welcome a new team member who brings aptitude, enthusiasm and a great work ethic.
Key Responsibilities will include:
· Sales and purchase ledger transactions
· Creating and processing reports (e.g. EC Sales Report, Intrastat Report)
· Processing expenses, mileage forms & staff queries
· Assisting with credit control
· Processing payroll
· Processing petty cash
· Maintaining vehicle register and associated administration
· Administering credit card and fuel card schemes
· Cashbook payments/receipts & reconciliations
Essential skills & experience:
· Previous experience in a similar role within an Accounting function or aptitude to learn
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Highly numerate & an analytical working method
· Flexible & adaptable attitude to work
· Effective team worker with a positive outlook & the ability to embrace change
· IT literate with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word & Outlook
Desirable skills & Experience:
· Experience of Microsoft Azure accounting software
· Experience of Sage payroll
· Experience of processing payroll is desirable but full training will be provided for the right candidate
· AAT or other qualification
