Holden & Company Accountants (Douglass Grange) are a progressive firm of Chartered Accountants and we are looking to add an experienced accounts assistant to out team, based in our Longridge office.
The successful candidate will have some previous experience working within an accountancy practice. Salary is dependent on experience.
Accounts Producers work under the supervision of the senior management team but many of the duties are performed with little or no supervision. The individuals should be self-motivated and comfortable working independently. They must also be able to work closely with the management team.

Responsibilities:
· Preparation of accounts across a broad range of sectors, for companies, sole traders and partnerships
· An understanding of payroll, vat, corporate and personal tax
· Prepare client accounts based on information supplied by client
· Liaise with clients on account queries and other matters as appropriate
· Prepare business tax computations, partnership and personal tax returns
· Prepare corporation tax computations and forms CT600
· Assist with client queries regarding aspects of their bookkeeping and other business matters as required
· Participate in internal/external meetings and training as required
· Act as a positive ambassador for the firm when dealing with clients or representing the business
· Positively contributes to the team working environment, taking ownership of issues and supporting colleagues where appropriate

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
