About the role…
We have an opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our team at the Majestic Hotel. As an Accounts Assistant you will work alongside with the hotel Unit controller.
Main responsibilities:
- dealing with invoices on a daily basis
- cash handling from all other departments
- producing reports in Excel and keeping accurate daily data
- debt chasing from all suppliers
- maintaining accrual spreadsheet
- preparing paperwork for the weekly credit meeting
- monthly stock take preparation
- any other ad hoc tasks which may arise
About you…
- While it would be fantastic if you had some experience in the hospitality industry, it is not essential. The more important aspects for us are:
- Willingness to learn
- Work confidently with numbers
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills, particularly when dealing with hotel teams
- Ability to write clearly for correspondence
- Ability to multi-task and be flexible
- Ability to use your own initiative
