Bastion Insurance is an Award winning specialist mobile phone and gadget insurance distributer. Selling insurance direct to Consumers, as well as wholesale broking to other Insurance brokers.
We are a small friendly team, based in Oxford (OX4)
The Accounts Assistant is responsible for day to day reconciliation of BACS and credit card payments, analysis of client account statements to assist with Sage 200 cash book entries, entry of data into Sage integration tool, and monthly reconciliation of Partner payment reports. The role primarily works independently, liaising with colleagues, suppliers, and external organisations as necessary. You will need to be friendly, polite, resilient and detail orientated.
The successful candidate will have a high level of IT literacy, specifically in Excel and Outlook as well as excellent administrative skills and a high level of accuracy. This role would suit someone with previous accounting experience. Previous bookkeeping experience would be preferable.
This position is offered as a combination of both office and home-working, The role is a minimum of 21 hours per week and the hours can be tailored accordingly.

F/T Annual Salary: £28K - £34K (Pro rata) depending on experience
