Job description
This is a varied and interesting opportunity to assist in all areas of accounts preparation for a well-established dancewear wholesaler, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable duties.
Working as part of a small team you will assist in a broad range of day to day workings of the accounts department; helping to process invoices, taking payments and answering general accounts queries.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Enter and balance daily Accounts Receivables
- Enter and balance daily Accounts Payables
- Update and reconcile daily banking
- Reconcile credit card transactions
- Daily, weekly and monthly reporting
- Make and track payments
- Review and reimburse employee expenses
- Maintain the Accounts Payable ledger
- Track expenses as they relate to specific projects
- Maintain files and electronic records
- Adhoc reporting as required
- Liaise with Customers and Suppliers
- Provide support to other departments and divisions as required
- Assist with monthly Management Accounts preparation
- Assist with Annual Financial Accounts preparation
- Assist with Annual Audit as required
- Assist with adhoc projects and tasks as require
Applicants should have prior experience of working in an accounts role. Applicants must have good general administration skills and should be familiar with Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
Applicants must have a good standard of general education including Maths GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or above.
