This is an exciting permanent opportunity to join a leading publishing organisation as an accounts assistant.
Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:

Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:
- Taking responsibility for accounts receivable and customer debt collection, including processing customers on Sage, creating invoices, chasing customers, updating sales banned lists and working closely with the Production Department to advise when customer payments have or haven’t been received
- Maintaining the payroll and journal
- Writing monthly sales reports
- Conducting Ad hoc support for CEO and director’s personal finances, including bookkeeping tasks for director’s companies
- Issuing LBAs and creating handover packs for legal customers
- GCSE Maths and English or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 1 year’s accounts department experience
- Intermediate level of Adobe and Microsoft, (specifically Word & Excel).
- Experience with accounting software, preferably Sage
- Good level of verbal and written communication skills
