Job description

You do not need experience to apply as training and support will be provided, but experience of working in finance would be beneficial. Offering lots of training and support, opportunities to progress, a varied role, hybrid working and study support for AAT if desired. You will be working as part of the supportive finance team of 9 and will be reporting into the Senior Finance Officer. Your role will initially focus on payroll, banking and supporting with purchase ledger, but your duties will develop further overtime. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in a finance role that will develop their skills and experience. After you have received all the necessary training, your role will initially include: Processing starters, leavers and movers in payroll and input into the payroll system Dealing with employees' payroll related queries Weekly and monthly payroll and control accounts reconciliations Processing employees' expenses Dealing with employees' expense related queries Process the bank statements onto the finance system Allocating cash Carrying out bank reconciliations Supporting with processing purchase invoices during colleagues' annual leave, which will include matching, batching and coding invoices and making payments Training opportunity, progression, study support and hybrid working.|Our client has a proven track record of developing its employees.
