Overview of the Role.

KX, a leading software company, is seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join its Finance team. The Accounts Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and processing financial records, assisting with financial reporting and analysis, and supporting the Finance team in day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and record financial transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures, to include sales invoicing, credit notes, and cash receipts
  • Assist with customer query resolution
  • Participation in month end close and reporting cycle
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial records
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis
  • Provide support to the Finance team in day-to-day tasks
  • Respond to financial queries from other departments within the company
  • Support audit process – analysis and query resolution
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or alternative experience in accounting, finance or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Experience with accounting software preferred
