Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen in Farrell Heyworth’s Accounts Department. We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, hardworking Accounts Administrator to join our busy team, working on a part-time basis, based at our head office in Lancaster.

The role of Accounts Administrator will require you to work with colleagues to ensure the management of landlord and tenant accounts.

The successful candidate will be a friendly & confident person with an eye for detail. You will have good numerical skills, be computer literate, with an excellent telephone manner.

This is a varied role and your duties will include:

· Processing and accounting of receipts & payments

· Daily bank reconciliations

· Creating documents relating to tenancies

· Assisting colleagues in their management of new and renewing tenancies

· Dealing with general account queries

The following skills and experience are essential:

· Good customer service and telephone manner

· 4 GCSEs to include Maths and English at Grade C or above

· Office administrative experience

The following skills and experience are desirable but not essential:

· Experience of residential property lettings

· Use of an accounts package

Working Week Wednesday - Friday 8.45am - 5.00pm based at our Lancaster City Centre offices.
