We are seeking a SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Lead to join our SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting team. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Technical Accounting and will have significant interactions with Legal, Investor Relations, Accounting, Tax, and Corporate FP&A.
The position will be in charge of the preparation and review of SEC filing on Form 10-K and Form 10-Q and play an important role in performing accounting research, drafting accounting memos, and providing technical accounting support. We are looking to hire a motivated professional and a team player with strong communication and project management skills and strong U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting knowledge to join our team.

- Responsible for coordination, preparation, and filing of quarterly Form 10-Q, annual Form 10-K, and other regulatory filings (e.g. Proxy Statement,Bureau of Economic Analysis filings, etc)
- Coordinate and prepare all footnote disclosures, draft all sections of MD&A disclosures, and review XBRL information
- Prepare GAAP and SEC Disclosure Checklists to ensure compliance with the U.S. GAAP and SEC Regulation
- Prepare quarter close calendar related to SEC Reporting on Form 10-K/10-Q and earnings release
- Research, evaluate and document technical accounting implications of complex or non-standard transactions
- Assist in technical accounting consultation and accounting policy updates and compliance initiatives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to enable proper accounting/reporting and support the business
- Perform processes and procedures to comply with SOX 404 control framework
- Assist in the company's internal/external audit
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to processes and controls related to SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting
- Participate in special projects and initiatives and support with any ad-hoc requests from cross-functional teams
Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- A U.S. CPA license required
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably with a combination of public accounting and public company industry experience
- Proficiency in US GAAP and SEC disclosure requirements for Form 10-Q and Form 10-K
- Experience in SEC reporting is preferred
- Self-motivated and proactive; able to function in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and still pay close attention to details

This position offers an annual base salary typically between $ 84,300 and $ 204,500, dependent on location and experience.
In certain circumstances, higher compensation will be considered based on the business need, candidate experience, and skills.
