OVERVIEW

The Corporate Accounting Manager provides financial guidance, leadership and advisory to our manufacturing facility management team across our Cadrex Platform. This position will be accountable for driving effective and timely financial reporting, supporting audits, and internal controls across the platform. The Accounting Manager is expected to be a dynamic leader upholding the Platform’s vision, ethics, and integrity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards
• Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation
• Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year; files annual corporate tax return
• Manages audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit
• Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies
• Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 10 years' relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment preferred (within Manufacturing)
• 5+ years of Management experience
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• ERP and Microsoft Office applications experience
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skill
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• CPM (such as Adaptive Planning) experience

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting; CPA strongly preferred, and MBA is a plus

LOCATION

• Remote plus 5-10% travel to our sites. Ideally the successful candidate will be within driving distance of a major airport
