Job Summary:
We are hiring an Accounting Manager to join our growing Accounting team. In addition to providing thought partnership to leaders of our rapidly scaling business, this role will manage the day-to-day needs of our Accounting function, including general ledger, tax, month-end close, AP/AR, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
In this Role, You Will:
- Manage month-end close process
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements
- Ensure GAAP, tax, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with Finance team to research variances in monthly financials across company divisions
- Play a key role in annual financial audit
- Work on special projects to enhance Accounting and Finance workflow automation
- Establishing internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions
- Development and documentation accounting policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting & CPA
- 3+ years in public accounting required (preferably within Big 4 firm)
- 2+ years managing a team required
- Understanding of US GAAP principles required
- Ability to communicate complicated Accounting / Finance concepts across the organization, including to senior leadership
- Excellent organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement process improvements
- Salesforce and NetSuite experience a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work across functions and influence stakeholders
- Experience working in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment preferred
- Thrive on change and finding/building solutions to complex problems
