Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. We are currently seeking an Accounting Analyst to be an integral part of our US accounting team. Responsibilities include general accounting, account reconciliation, month-end close management and assistance with various accounting projects. The successful candidate will need to be able to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels across the organization, strong ability to problem-solve with analytical skills, and have a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP accounting principles.
Essential Functions
- Prepare various general ledger entries, month-end accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Responsible for recording the company’s fixed assets
- Prepare fluctuation analysis on balance sheet and income statement as needed
- Provide accounting support to U.S. and Canada operations
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation
- Prepare documentation and analysis to support internal and external audit process
- Support internal and external financial reporting processes
- Assist with maintaining a strong SOX404 internal controls process
- Assist with ad hoc projects as needed
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Enthusiastic, positive professional attitude with integrity and reliability
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to multitask, set own priorities and adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- High level of integrity.
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables etc. required
- SAP S/4 HANA experience preferred
Required/Preferred Education and Licenses
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business with an emphasis in accounting or relevant experience
- Experience working for a public company a plus
- Minimum of 2 years directly relevant experience

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $68,000-$89,250. The exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
