Are you an experienced Finance Administrator looking for your next challenge and looking to expand your knowledge?
Working in a small, friendly team you will be supporting the development of reconciliation service across the Government Finance and Accounting departments.
This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract which means it is a fantastic opportunity to gain extensive finance experience and build skills such stakeholder management.
As this is a Hybrid working role you will work 1 day in the office (Friday) and the rest of the week at home! So, if you are an outstanding and highly motivated individual with passion and desire to contribute to the positive reputation of our business, we would love to hear from you!
What you’ll be doing:
- Quality Assurance reviews of the monthly reconciliation certificates
- Investigation of complex and aged reconciling items
- Management of internal meetings to resolve reconciling items and issues
- Production of Overpayment and Gross to Net reconciliations and aged analysis data
- Production of ad hoc reconciliations as required
What you’ll bring:
- Problem solving and ability to investigate discrepancies.
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Experiencing of completing reconciliations
- Works as part of a team and on own initiative
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel and MS Applications
- Ability to develop good working relationships
It would be great if you had:
- Accountancy Qualification or working towards AAT
