Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Accountant with a minimum of 2 year of professional accounting experience and expertise in QuickBooks. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for managing financial records, performing general accounting duties, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper financial controls and procedures are in place.
- Prepare documentation for audits and support external auditors during financial reviews.
- Utilize QuickBooks software to maintain financial records, generate reports, and streamline accounting processes.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounting department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 year of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge and experience working with QuickBooks software.
- Fluency in spoken and written Russian. Ability to comprehend and respond appropriately to verbal and written communications in Russian.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and experience in tax preparation is a plus.
