Duties:
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights and recommendations for management decision-making
- Utilize Sage accounting software to rWe are looking for a talented, motivated individual to join our company as a Part-Time Accountant.
Experience Requirements:
- Quickbooks
- Excel and/or Google Sheets
Duties include a wide range of accounting work:
- Monitor spreadsheets and documents.
- Record and keep track of money that flows in and out of the Company via Quickbook accounts.
- Account and bank reconciliations
- Assist in keeping track of Accounts Receivable and collections
- Send and pay invoices and checks as needed through bills.com and/or QuickBooks. Ex: general company invoices, referral fees, slotting fees, revenue shares.
- Organize and enter invoice information
- Enter transactions and journal entries into Quickbooks
- Monitor and be the point of contact for the [email protected] email box. Answer emails from clients; for example, send copies of invoices, update billing information, send W9, etc. Also, receive bills and get approval, answer other miscellaneous emails
- Monitor payments through Authorize.net
- Set up new vendors and partners in Quickbooks and bill.com as needed.
- Send and Receive W9s
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
Although this is a part-time position, we are looking for a long-term commitment. This position could grow into a full-time position.ecord and track financial transactions
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Perform cash flow analysis to monitor and manage the company's liquidity position
- Assist in financial accounting processes, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close activities
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate the audit process
- Conduct account analysis to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Provide financial services such as budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven experience in account reconciliation, financial report writing, and balance sheet reconciliation
- Proficiency in using Sage accounting software or similar platforms
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform cash flow analysis and account analysis
- Knowledge of auditing principles and practices
- Familiarity with financial services such as budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
