Senior Accounting Clerk
This posting is for a permanent full-time position, working 75 hours bi-weekly.

Your role
As a Senior Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for providing a wide variety of senior accounting services to the Department through allocating, monitoring, and adjusting expenditures and expenditure recoveries, reconciling accounts, and performing other duties in support of financial accounting operations. This role does not entail supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Qualifications
Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the following qualifications. Please note that selection for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume.
- Significant coursework in Accounting, or related field.
- Experience reconciling statements and accounts.
- Experience interpreting legislation or internal financial policies and applying those rules to transactions (e.g. approving an employee purchase request as it follows internal purchasing policy; or denying an invoice for payment as it doesn’t meet contract terms).
- Experience analyzing data and producing financial reports.
