Accountant

Location: Leeds

Salary: 25,000- £30,000

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Our client is a well-established Accountancy Firm based in Leeds and has a fantastic opportunity for an Accountant to join their team!

We’re looking for a hardworking, driven, and passionate candidate to join our client practice team as they get set for further growth in 2023.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with financial and management accounts preparation for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
• Assisting with managing client expectations and deadlines.
• Assisting with the preparation of personal and business tax returns.
• Providing excellent client support and advice to your client portfolio.
• Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
• Assisting with general administrative duties including meeting and greeting clients, filing, answering the telephone and supporting the team to meet deadlines as required.

What we are looking for:

• AAT qualified or working towards
• IT Literate with significant experience of using Excel and Sage
• Effective written and verbal skills.
• Be able to develops strong working relationships with colleagues across departments and with senior leaders.
• Able to multi-task, is organised and has good time management.
• Practice experience would be preferable however is not essential
