Responsibilities:
Tasked with ensuring the accuracy of the consolidated financial statements. Key areas of focus include:
- Oversight of the consolidation process
- Understanding of intercompany transactions and proper elimination of intercompany transactions throughout the company
- Accounting for non-controlling interests
- Monthly Close Process
- Journal Entry Creation and Postings
- Account Reconciliations
- Spearhead and drive process improvements
- Work with various individuals including legal to set up new legal entities in accounting system.
- Play a leadership role in projects related to acquisitions, divestitures, and changes in accounting process or policy.
- Prepare and review audit schedules.
Skills:
- Bachelor in Accounting
- 5-8 years of related accounting experience including significant exposure to consolidation accounting
- 2+ years public accounting - Big Four preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters’ Degree in Accounting
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience with organizations having a complex legal structure.
- Proven self-starter requiring minimal guidance to successfully complete projects.
- Superior organization and prioritization skills
- Able to efficiently communicate and interact with people of various cultures.
- A proven ability to be decisive, resolve issues and deliver on commitments and deadlines.
- Demonstrated creativity and flexibility in problem solving and project collaboration.
- Proven ability to present data in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to all levels of management.
- Comfortable in discussing issues, strategy and negotiating with Company executives.
- Superior writing skills
- Superior Excel modeling skills
- Superior PowerPoint presentation skills

Salary: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
