SUMMARY
Assist Accounting Department in a variety of functional accounting activities. Performs a number of ongoing responsibilities in accordance with standard accounting procedures under general supervisor and guidance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, and other duties may be assigned.
- Bill our customers on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis
- Assist with customer collections
- Assists with processing job tickets, balances for piece count and processing charges and types invoices
- Works closely with Account Management team
- Works with excel sheets
- Enters invoice information into various customer portals
- Balancing and reconciling accounts
- Backup/assistance for accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Reconcile customer escrow accounts
- Balance postage meter accounts
- Regular attendance and timely reporting for work.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
· Billing and bookkeeping/accounting experience necessary, business office experience a plus
· Familiarity of basic bookkeeping/accounting procedures
· Accuracy and attention to detail
· Data entry and word processing skills
· Prior utilization of computerized billing systems
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365- mainly Excel, Outlook, Word, and Access
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Flexibility of working alone or alongside others
· Ability to ask questions and desire to learn

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED): or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to ready and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
MATHMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, piece rate, percentages, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
