Financial Accountant, Kent, Hybrid £55,000 - £65,000
We are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant for a growing firm in the construction industry. The Financial Accountant will work closely with the Group Finance Director and support staff to manage the financial accounts for the group, preparing financial statements and conducting financial analysis.
Ultimately, the purpose of the team is to provide key stakeholders with regular and pertinent financial information to help drive optimal decision-making and successful business strategies.
What you will do
- Financial accounting using accounting package
- Preparing financial statements under IFRS, FRS1 101 and FRS 102
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- End of period reporting
- Reconciliation of bank accounts to accounting ledgers
- Generate and monitor purchase orders within the system resolving queries and supplier disputes.
- General Ledger Reconciliations
- Managing creditors, ensuring payments are made in time, processing of incoming payments, reconciling invoices, resolving account queries.
- Experience accounting for payroll
- Production of quarterly VAT return.
- MI reporting.
- ACA/ACCA qualified
- Experience within audit practice
- Experience preparing Limited and LLP financial statements
