You will join the Finance Team supporting the team responsible for equipment, vessels and people for projects globally.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Actively communicating with budget holders to plan, monitor, and advise on financial performance, explaining financial information in a clear and concise way to non-finance personnel.
- Timely preparation of monthly LTF reports for assigned Skillpools. This will include variance analysis of actuals and forecasts.
- Preparing annual budget and calculating white book rates (WBR) for assigned Skillpools.
- Assisting the Finance Team to ensure compliance with the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.
- Preparing reconciliations and analysis with relevant and appropriate back up and critical analysis of the balances.
- Ensuring continuous compliance with all finance policies, process and procedures.
- Pro-actively identifying process improvement opportunities and work to establish best practice, standardisation, and ways of working.
- Managing crewing service order site, liaising with users and IT as required.
- Mentoring and supporting of other team members
Applicants to this role require (desirable)
- Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline (Finance/Accounting/Business).
- Post-graduate qualification in Accounting (e.g., Chartered Accountant, Chartered Management Accountant, etc.) or related discipline.
- Relevant previous experience at an appropriate level in the subsea or offshore environment.
- Experience in SAP.
- Proven interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels within the organisation and region.
- Comprehensive planning, problem-solving and organizational skills, with ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Demonstrable experience in improving current work practices and implementing new ideas.
- Advanced written, oral communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
