We are a Fintech/Mobility company doing good in the world by accelerating the adoption of EV's. Serial entrepreneur Sunil Paul co founded the company with a mission of a gigaton scale climate mitigation project. The company will unite the trillions of dollars of ESG capital with the immense interest in electric vehicles. EV adoption is accelerating and our company Spring Free has a great opportunity in front of us.
The speed of adoption of Electric Vehicles (EVs) is critical to achieving deep decarbonization of the transport sector. Passenger vehicles emit 10% - 15% of total global greenhouse gas emissions and transportation is the leading source of carbon emissions in the United States. Even with all the government support around the world, not enough EVs are projected to be sold to get to net zero emissions and limit warming to 1.5 degrees C. Our goal is to achieve the adoption rate needed to get to net zero emissions and reduce emissions by about one gigaton by 2030.
EVs are now at a tipping point where the total cost of ownership can be lower than gas or diesel-powered vehicles. Spring Free EV takes advantage of the additional value in an EV to lower the upfront cost for drivers. We do this by providing a two-sided marketplace matching EV driver interest with ESG Capital. The EV Auto Asset class we are creating is critical to decarbonizing the transportation sector and accelerating the adoption of EV’s.
Spring Free EV is empowering individuals to easily acquire EVs, we will deploy millions of cars and reduce 1 gigaton of CO2 emissions by 2030. We are building a unique platform that uses data to optimize the value of underwriting EVs. Proof of concept includes more than $10M deployed from some of Silicon Valley’s top investors (Reid Hoffman, Ev Williams, and Bronze Capital) and over 200 vehicles being deployed across 9 states.
Location
The company is virtual and a Delaware corporation. You will need to be authorized to work in the United States.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Work with Controller / Head of Accounting in maintaining financial stability for the company
- Develop and implement financial activities of the company
- Responsible for maintaining monthly and quarterly financial updates
- Maintain and update P&L, balance sheet, forecast revenue, and cash flow forecast
- Complete all standard and ad-hoc financial analysis, as needed for the business planning process
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of general accounting and management experience
- High-quality operational discipline
- Development of financial templates for repeatable processes
- Ideally rode growth wave from $5M to $100M+
- Auto Finance, FinTech, Mobility and/or business background is a priority
The right person will be a proven Operational Accountant: Strong in Cash Mgt. The financially minded individual will have demonstrated hands on experience, with expertise in auto finance and/or growth phases of a fintech business. This critical team member will be an expert in establishing processes, controls, and positioning a company for growth.
