Qualified Accountant Required!

Up to £55K DOE

Puro Accountancy are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join an established accountancy practice in Peterborough. Responsibilities:

• Managing your own portfolio of existing and new clients.
• Preparing and filing year end accounts under FRS102 & FRS105.
• Preparing and submitting personal and business taxes.
• Overseeing bookkeeping & VAT returns.
• Managing and mentoring a team of junior accountants, providing guidance and support where necessary.
• Ensuring that all work is completed accurately and to a high standard within strict deadlines.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and identifying opportunities for business development.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA/AAT qualified with at least 3 years UK accountancy practice experience (QBE will also be considered).
• Experience working with a portfolio is desirable.
• Strong technical accounting skills, with a good understanding of accounting standards and tax legislation.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
