A leading international FMCG business with a UK head office in central London is recruiting a Senior Financial Accountant to work closely with the UK Financial Controller on a hybrid working basis of 3 days office and 2 days home working. The key deliverables for the Senior Financial Accountant include:-

• Working with the UK Financial Controller reviewing and improving controls and accounting processes.
• Managing the month end close process
• Working with commercial finance team to deliver accurate accounting and reporting for brands
• Performing Balance sheet reconciliation
• Leading the internal and external audit process and be the main point of contact with external auditors
• Being the main point of contact with external auditors

The ideal candidate for the Senior Financial Accountant will:-

• Be a qualified accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA) with external audit experience
• Possess strong technical skills and a good knowledge IFRS and accounting standards
• Be hands on with a strong focus on process improvement
