Job Description

A leading international FMCG business with a UK head office in central London is recruiting a Senior Financial Accountant to work closely with the UK Financial Controller on a hybrid working basis of 3 days office and 2 days home working. The key deliverables for the Senior Financial Accountant include:-

Working with the UK Financial Controller reviewing and improving controls and accounting processes.
Managing the month end close process
Working with commercial finance team to deliver accurate accounting and reporting for brands
Performing Balance sheet reconciliation
Leading the internal and external audit process and be the main point of contact with external auditors
Being the main point of contact with external auditors

The ideal candidate for the Senior Financial Accountant will:-

Be a qualified accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA) with external audit experience
Possess strong technical skills and a good knowledge IFRS and accounting standards
Be hands on with a strong focus on process improvement
