About Our Client

My client is a market leading FMCG brand who operate globally. Due to growth within the business they require an ambitious individual to support that journey.

Job Description

• Preparation and review of the monthly stock and stock provisions.

• Explain and support the Operational business with their stock queries.

• Calculation of insite management fees, raising invoices and credit notes.

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger for all responsible accounts, with their balance sheet reconciliations.

• Liaise with external auditors for the interim and year-end financial audits.

• Support the UKII weekly cash forecasting to Group Treasury and optimisation of cash balances.

• Logistic reporting into Group Finance and P&L cost centre reviews.

• Communicate effectively with non-financial stakeholders, providing timely and accurate information to support commercial decision-making.

• Proactively and flexibly support the projects to grow the business and its margins, while controlling costs.

The Successful Applicant

• Part-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent with proven experience in a similar accounting role.
• Multi-site and stock experience.
• IT Literate - Microsoft Office, Excel
• Experience in using SQL databases
• Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and work to strict reporting deadlines.
