Job Description
The General Accountant will assist with:
- Month-end close
- Preparing and uploading journals and generating reports
- Audit support
- Maintenance of and improvements to balance sheet reconciliations
- Gathering, processing and verifying financial data
- Providing information for required stakeholders
The Successful Applicant
Beneficial experience includes:
- Work transitions experience
- Experience with inter-house Financial systems
- Having experience in large organisation/shared service centres with general ledger experiences such as preparation and upload of journals
- Balance sheet reconciliation experience - sub-ledger reconciliations, prepayments, accruals, inter-company reconciliations, bank reconciliations etc
- Inter-company cross charges - internal and external Audit support
- System integration/implementation experience
- Experiences specialising in accounting process improvements and centralisation, standardised processes, enhancing efficiency etc
