Job Description


The successful applicant will have strong accounting knowledge. They will be looking for an opportunity to cultivate their skill-set in all areas of accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. With the assistance of the Controller, you will transition the company from its current bookkeeping software to the NetSuite ERP. This is a 4 month internship.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Perform administrative duties
  • Assist with Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables
  • Assist with transition to NetSuite ERP system from QuickBooks
  • Other duties as required
  • Be an enthusiastic team player - keeping both the corporate and internal customers a priority at all times.

Qualifications


Skills and Requirements

  • Less than 2 years of accounting experience
  • A fantastic attitude
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • A desire to learn, make mistakes, relearn and grow
  • Experience with Netsuite and Quickbooks an asset

Education

  • Currently enrolled in an Accounting program at a Canadian Post-Secondary Institution.
