We are looking for a

Financial Accountant

who will be working alongside the UK FP&A Supply chain assistant/ Credit manager, Central accounting, Accounts payable and accounts receivable departments.

The purpose of the role is to ensure and be responsible for the integrity of the FRS102 financial accounting and assisting with IFRS reporting; managing all UK tax requirements ensuring compliance to relevant accounting standards ensuring strong records are maintained. The role will also be responsible for the net working capital forecasting/ budget process.

What is possible?

Prepare the working capital forecast/ budget for the UK business

Support the credit control manager with the review of credit release

Coordinate the payment of significant capital purchases liaising with treasury to ensure funds are available.

Prepare the monthly management accounts for 5 entities on a timely basis ensuring accuracy and completeness. Taking ownership and responsible for the submission of the accounts.

Prepare the statutory accounts for 6 entities ensuring all audit requirements are fully addressed.

Working with internal and external auditors providing any required documentation, preparing audit evidence.

Liaising with business functions to maintaining legal agreements

Preparing information for pension trustee meetings

Responsibility for the preparation of the annual tax pack

Provide general support for the inhibitor business and be the finance first point of contact.

Prepare the balance sheet budget/ forecast

Profit in stock reporting

Preparation of UK Tax information for yearly Corporation Tax return, liaising with external tax advisors and reviewing computation prior to submission to HMRC UK liaising with other group companies to optimise Group relief.

Manage and prepare evidence to support any VAT queries for UK business

Manage and fulfil the Withholding tax requirements

Develop Capital Forecasting aligned to reported actuals and expected cashflow outflow working closely with Capex Manager to provide regular updates on spend, return and timing to key stake holders

Validate financial benefits on capex requests

What do you bring?

Strong accounting experience from a similar role

Local accounting standards knowledge

Knowledge in UK tax requirements

Oracle or other ERP system experience

Excellent Excel skills

Great attention for details

Strong communication skills

Location: Hybrid – Home office and our site at Wyke
