Your role
To provide a high quality, professional and responsive financial analysis, insight and decision making support service to the Grantham Coated & Ready To Eat management team, inspiring business improvement and project delivery.
To ensure the timely presentation of financial information to promote and facilitate initiatives that add value to the sites’ operations and supply chain.
To identify and implement improvements in the effectiveness of people, systems & processes, profit and working capital & cash.
What you’ll need
CIMA, ACCA or ACA passed finalist, qualified, or qualified by experience – capable of working without close guidance.
Experience of a manufacturing finance environment and knowledge of variance analysis and overhead control.
Strong planning, interpersonal and diplomacy skills - motivated to give a responsive proactive service.
Excellent communicator, bringing numbers alive through simple tables and presentations with clarity and consistency. Ability to explain finance to non-financial colleagues.
Able to find new solutions through analytical, interpretative and original thinking.
Comfortable challenging the status quo.
Able to work at both macro and micro level, competent to alternate between high-level overviews and diligent low level data preparation.
Trustworthy to work on confidential and sensitive matters with discretion.
