Meraki Talent are delighted to be engaged with the appointment of a Financial Accountant for a dynamic business based in the heart of Glasgow City Centre.
The Role
This position will be working closely alongside the Financial Director making it a perfect opportunity for a first-time mover to develop in a forward-thinking firm. The role is offering a salary between £45,000-£48,000 DOE + 10% bonus and benefits and the successful individuals responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

The Role
This position will be working closely alongside the Financial Director making it a perfect opportunity for a first-time mover to develop in a forward-thinking firm. The role is offering a salary between £45,000-£48,000 DOE + 10% bonus and benefits and the successful individuals responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Responsible for the monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts for financial reporting
- Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets, periodic forecasts& weekly cash flow forecasts
- Assisting with special accounting projects when required
- Ensure the timely completion of the monthly close processes with complete and accurate recording of all transactions
- Continually reviewing processes for ongoing improvement in the workflows related to the close process, looking to improve the efficiency of reporting processes
- Submission of VAT returns
- Assisting with the year end audit
- Qualified Accountant
- A background in audit
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent IT skills
