MDC Fire & Joinery Ltd is a passive fire protection & joinery company, dedicated to the creation and upkeep of fire doors and fire stopping compartmentation. We are based in Liverpool but cover areas all across the UK.
Accountant
Mdc fire and joinery ltd is a Liverpool-based manufacturer of high-quality, cost-effective, and innovative products for the construction, industrial, and commercial markets. We are looking for an Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
·Perform day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
·Prepare journal entries for accounts receivable and accounts payable.
·Prepare financial statements for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
·Prepare financial reports for annual budget preparation.
·Assist in month-end close process including reconciliations of general ledger accounts to actuals.
·Assist in month-end reconciliations of sales tax and payroll taxes.
·Assist in month-end reconciliations of utility invoices.
·Assist in month-end reconciliation of cash receipts and payments.
·Assist in month-end reconciliation of inventory records.
·Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s degree preferred. CPA or CMA certification preferred but not required. Must be highly organized, have strong attention to detail, be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and possess the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £40,000.00 per year
