The Role
This is a full time, 6-month fixed term opportunity to join our finance team. Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant will play a key role in delivering a first-class service to our international group. Based at our HQ in Lisburn, you will support team members across the group to ensure accurate accounting and reporting in non-UK divisions. Key responsibilities will include:
- Monthly management accounts for a number of group companies;
- Fixed Asset register maintenance;
- Assisting with Capex analysis and reporting;
- Intercompany reconciliations;
- Balance Sheet reconciliations;
- Assisting Regional Financial Controller with Cashflow forecasting and reporting;
- Assisting with completion of group reporting pack;
- EC Sales and Intrastat monthly returns;
- Managing audit for group management accounts
- Assisting Corporate Finance Manager with the preparation of annual budgets;
- Ad-hoc project work and duties as and when required.

Essential
- Qualified accountant with a minimum of 1-year PQE;
- · Advanced MS Excel capability with proven experience of data management and analysis;
- Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to work to tight deadlines;
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency across the Microsoft office suite;
- Able to prioritise and manage a varied workload whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy
- Strong stakeholder management skills
Desirable
- Preference for ACA or CIMA qualification with 1st time passes;
- Trained in a Big-4 environment
