Position overview:
The corporate finance and accounting department at K92 is looking to add a staff accountant to its team. This full-time position at our Vancouver Head Office, reports to the Director of Finance.
We are seeking a self-driven, growth-orientated team player to join our team and help our business grow.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounts payable function;
- Prepare bank and general ledger account reconciliations;
- Prepare the semi-monthly payroll;
- Assist with the preparation of weekly reporting to senior management;
- Assist with quarterly financial statement reporting;
- Contribute to process improvements;
- Adhere to financial controls and comply with policies and procedures;
- Perform ad hoc projects as they arise; and
- Take ownership of assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance preferred;
- Previous accounting or AP experience is an asset, but not necessary;
- Experience with QuickBooks or other similar software;
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; and
- Detail oriented and focused on quality.
