We are now seeking an Financial Accountant to join the team in Dubai.

Position Overview:
As Financial Accountant you will assist the Finance Director with a variety of Accounting and administrative duties, supporting all Company business objectives and service delivery.

You will also prepare the monthly payroll, to ensure records of new starters and leavers are correct. To manage all aspects of payroll function, advising on payments, accounting, reporting and all other reasonable tasks associated.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Finance

Preparation of quotation comparison sheets and raising of purchase orders in the system

Accounting vendor invoices

Preparation of bank payments and managing vendor relations

Group Cashflow and Treasury management and forecasting

To assist the Finance Manager with the preparation and review of monthly group financial statements and associated reports for group reporting

Providing monthly P & L reports to Business units and Stakeholders.

To assist preparation of monthly WIP and project analysis plus various other ad hoc tasks as required.

Assist in the preparation of Budgets and Forecasting

Preparation of quarterly VAT returns

Assisting with preparation of financial statements and assist in audits

Preparation of ICV related documents and liaising with ICV auditors

Managing petty cash, expenses and credit card entries

Rasing sales invoices and follow up for collection

Working closely with the Finance Manager to ensure all payroll liabilities and compliance regulations are met.

Payroll

Processing Company Payroll on a monthly basis

Making sure all new starters and leavers are treated correctly

Making sure any payroll adjustments are properly recorded.

Record keeping for labour audits.

Skills and Experience:
Essential:
Qualified Accountant post qualification experience

Successful track record of finance experience in industry desirable

Proven record of meeting tight deadlines with Incredible attention to detail.

Previously worked in a fast-paced environment

Team player and good communicator (verbal and written)

Proficient in MS Office (advanced Excel particularly VLOOKUP and Pivot tables)

Experience using Paprika desirable but not essential
