Job description
Responsible for financial records, makes sure the appropriate taxes are paid by federal and state deadlines, assists in overseeing efficient use of funds and related tasks.
Essential Functions (include but are not limited to):
- Assists with A/R and A/P operations
- Prepare journal entries for month, quarter, and yearend
- Fixed asset, out of book asset management
- Assist CFO, Manager with special projects as needed
- Month / Yearend closing and assists month-end financial statement preparation
- Assists preparing corporate budgets and forecasts
- Assists with the timely preparation of federal and state income tax returns and estimated tax payments
- Assist Year-end audit and coordinate with outside CPA firm
- Assists operating units with tax issues and planning
- Other ad-hoc projects as requests
Education
- High School/GED
- 4 Year Degree in Accounting or Finance

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and possess the basic ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- Must satisfactorily complete HTGP hiring process requirements, which includes phone interview, in-person interview, medical and functional assessment, drug screen and background check.
- Candidates must be able to work some overtime hours and occasional weekend days.
- Candidates must be capable of working on their feet for long periods, demonstrating hand dexterity and tolerating repetitious work patterns.
