Staff Accountant for Hi-5 ABA
Hi-5 ABA is the National ABA Franchising Company. We are dedicated to creating more accessibility to ABA services for children with developmental disabilities. Our franchisee model allows Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to run their own practice without having to handle administrative tasks like credentialing, billing, payroll, and much more with ongoing assistance provided.
Staff Accountant Overview:
We are in search of a meticulous and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team and provide support in overseeing our financial transactions. Play a key role in supporting/ assisting with the books and records of multiple corporate departments which include but are not limited to the preparation of month-end closing entries, account and intercompany reconciliations, daily cash reconciliations, and statement coding.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of daily & monthly reconciliation of cash accounts.
- Monitor cash balances across the enterprise accounts and execute fund transfers.
- Analyze and perform monthly general ledger reconciliations.
- Complete coding of monthly statements.
- Conduct month-end and year-end closures.
- Confirm Quickbooks setup for new franchisees & offices.
Requirements:
1. Experience and Qualifications:
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 2-3 years of general ledger experience.
- 2-3 years of experience using Quickbooks, including AP & AR processing, report generation, and journal entry completion.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP.
2. Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in utilizing QuickBooks and/or similar accounting software.
- Microsoft Excel &/or Google Sheets.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
3. We Offer:
- A starting salary of $50,000-60,000 (Based on experience and job fit)
