We are seeking a Full Cycle Accountant or Bookkeeper to join our team. The Full Cycle Accountant will be responsible for managing the entire accounting process for our company, including maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and managing the month-end closing process.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire accounting process from start to finish, including maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial reports.
- Perform month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including vendor and customer relations and ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Prepare and file various tax returns, including sales tax and payroll tax returns
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with EHT and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and file provincial workers compensation.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to management to support decision-making processes
- Participate in various special projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent workplace experience
- 3+ years of experience in full cycle accounting
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, Wagepoint, MS Office
- Good understanding of interprovincial sales tax
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CPA designation is an asset but not required
