Job Description
Under the direction of the Director of Accounting, this candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of investment statements, preparation of investment reports, performing analyses and assessing data quality. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Prepare and reconcile monthly/annual financial reports;
- Perform all Accounts Payable related duties;
- Perform audit procedures to ensure all controls are in place;
- Perform difficult arithmetical computations;
- Monitor and manage cash balances available for investment; recommend investment of the funds balances based on cash needs of the pension fund;
- Present financials reports and various other related projects to management;
- Enter journal entries into the accounting software;
- Participate in annual audit and follow-up with all audit requests;.
- Investigate/Resolve any variances related to financial reports;
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures to improve unit workflow and efficiency;
- Work on special projects and other ad hoc projects as designated by supervisor of Unit.
Minimum Qual Requirements
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.
Preferred Skills
- Excellent analytical, communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills;
- Strong computer skills, including fluency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Additional Information
NOTE: This is a full-time on-site position. The incumbent will be required to report to the office on a regular basis.

Salary: The hiring rate being offered for this position is $59,116. If you possess the preferred skills above, consideration will be given to offer you a maximum annual salary of no more than $67,983. The salary is non-negotiable.
