We are looking for someone who is an effective finance Business Partner. You will be joining a diverse, friendly and professional finance team. We are operating in an environment of increasing financial complexity and expanding demands for high level advice. The team are working at home for part of the week and also in Hove Town Hall.

About the role
The successful candidate will have:
- Extensive experience of producing and evaluating business cases, setting budgets, closing accounts and monitoring budgets to meet the needs of budget managers.
- Strong technical skills with experience of budget management and supporting large and complex projects.
- A positive proactive approach with the ability to work on your own initiative and as a team player.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills and competency in using Microsoft Office and other financial systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate financial matters to a non-financial audience.

Additional information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
