We have a vacancy for an Accounting Assistant in our busy Porthleven office. The ideal candidate will have a year or more experience in Accountancy and be familiar with using accountancy software (Xero, Sage etc). They must be proficient in Excel/Microsoft Office.
Job Description - Accounts Assistant
- Inputting Purchase Orders and matching to Purchase invoices
- Inputting Purchase Invoices to Xero
- Checking supplier statements
- Credit Control
- Collecting Direct Debits and managing the database. Reconciliation of payments received and failed Direct Debits.
- Processing cheque payments received
- Bank reconciliations and clearing payments received/paid on Xero
- Reconciliation of credit card payments
- Dealing with customer and supplier accounts queries
Salary & Benefits
- £11.00 per hour + bonuses
- 20 hours per week Monday-Friday 10AM to 2PM (flexible)
- Up to £300 quarterly performance bonus
