Job description
Our accounting and advisory firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Associate with QuickBooks expertise to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting and bookkeeping tasks for our clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting functions for multiple clients using QuickBooks software, including A/R, A/P, and general ledger
- Perform month-end and year-end closings, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Prepare and file payroll, sales tax, and other tax returns as needed
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other financial analyses
- Maintain accurate and organized client files and records
- Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Proficiency in QuickBooks software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 per week
Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
