TITLE: Manager Accounting (Enterprise)

LOCATION: Costa Mesa, CA (Onsite)

STATUS: Full-Time, Direct Hire

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, Normal Business Hours

PAY RANGE: $53,000-75,000 Per Year DOQ

This is the pay range that BAHAMA Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversees daily operations of the accounting department that includes but not limited to Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Asset Management, Construction in Progress, and Accounts Receivable.
• Manages staff of Accounting Analysts I & II, Self-Pay Collector, and Accounts Payable.
• Ensures integrity of the financial statements which are critical to the organization.
• Coordinates and facilitates audits of financial statements and other statutory reporting.
• Identifies staff training needs and works with the accounting team and IT department to ensure educational tools are available to the staff.
• Develops and mentors staff, monitors job performance and offers feedback and assistance when needed.
• Monitors departmental policies.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Must have healthcare-hospital system leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or other related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of accounting and finance experience in a management/supervisory role in the healthcare industry.
• 2-3 years in public accounting preferred.
• Advanced knowledge in the use of financial applications including spreadsheets, database and working knowledge of GAAP.
• Familiarity with Lawson software application preferred.
• Cert required: Certified Public Accountant (California).
