TITLE: Manager Accounting (Enterprise)
LOCATION: Costa Mesa, CA (Onsite)
STATUS: Full-Time, Direct Hire
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, Normal Business Hours
PAY RANGE: $53,000-75,000 Per Year DOQ
This is the pay range that BAHAMA Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees daily operations of the accounting department that includes but not limited to Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Asset Management, Construction in Progress, and Accounts Receivable.
- Manages staff of Accounting Analysts I & II, Self-Pay Collector, and Accounts Payable.
- Ensures integrity of the financial statements which are critical to the organization.
- Coordinates and facilitates audits of financial statements and other statutory reporting.
- Identifies staff training needs and works with the accounting team and IT department to ensure educational tools are available to the staff.
- Develops and mentors staff, monitors job performance and offers feedback and assistance when needed.
- Monitors departmental policies.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Must have healthcare-hospital system leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or other related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of accounting and finance experience in a management/supervisory role in the healthcare industry.
- 2-3 years in public accounting preferred.
- Advanced knowledge in the use of financial applications including spreadsheets, database and working knowledge of GAAP.
- Familiarity with Lawson software application preferred.
- Cert required: Certified Public Accountant (California).
