Job description
TPF Recruitment is assisting a highly regarded and successful firm of chartered accountants based in Tonbridge in their search for an Accounts Assistant / Semi Senior to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Semi Senior to join this firm of chartered accountants which has a very strong reputation across Kent and the South-East.Their clients are made up of OMBs, SMEs and large corporate companies. The remit of the position can be built around the applicants experience and aspirations but you will mainly be responsible for:
- Preparation of statutory accounts to review stage
- Assisting with management accounts production
- Personal taxation, corporate taxation and VAT returns
- General bookkeeping duties using Sage, Xero or QuickBooks
- Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees
Requirements
Accounts Assistant / Semi Senior
- You will have 2-5 years experience within an accountancy practice
- You will be AAT / ACA/ ACCA part qualified or AAT qualified.
- You will have hands on experience of accounts, tax and VAT preparation.
